High School Groups

At the Homeschool Academy, we know that when students read and write well, they excel in all other subject areas. That’s why we have custom designed an academic writing course that is guaranteed to help students meet and exceed academic expectations.
Modeled after Academic Writing classes at the collegiate level, this course focuses on the steps of the writing process, providing students with a template they can follow for every writing assignment throughout their entire educational career. Along the way, we build associated skills, such as reading comprehension, analysis, research, drafting, revising, and editing.
High School Groups are composed of up to six students, and meet for two hours, once a week. Enrollment includes online support for assignments, discounted drop-in tutoring sessions at the Homeschool Academy, and a free half hour introductory meeting.
Students gain the maximum benefits by participating in the course from beginning to end, so please consider enrolling for a semester or school year.
Qualifies for semester or year long English credit on high school transcript!
$180 per month
(Tuition based on $45 per class, with a minimum of one month enrollment required.)
